Internationally acclaimed reggae fusion artists Shaggy and Maxi Priest will perform on October 17th, 2015 in the first concert to celebrate the Louis Vuitton America’s Cup World Series in Bermuda.
Also performing are the high energy Caribbean soca band Spice and Company, with your emcee for the night Bermuda’s own reggae artist Uzimon kicking off the show.
This highly anticipated concert celebrates the four-day Louis Vuitton America’s Cup World Series race event being hosted in Bermuda October 15-18, 2015.
The America’s Cup Jam is idyllically scheduled for sunset at No. 1 Dock on Hamilton Harbour, the heart of the World Series event festivities in Bermuda. Both general admission and VIP tickets (with front stage viewing and premium service) are available.

About the Artists:
Shaggy – Shaggy first garnered global success in 1995 with the release of his third album, Boombastic, which went on to sell more than 1 million copies and earned him a Grammy Award for Best Reggae Album. Since then, Shaggy has released more than 11 albums, including the six times platinum Hot Shot. His latest single, “I Need Your Love,” features strong Spanish percussion elements infused with a reggae twist. His album, Out of Many, One Music, was also a 2015 Grammy Award nominee for Best Reggae Album. Hit singles include: “Boombastic,” “It Wasn’t Me” and “Angel.”
Maxi Priest – Maxi Priest secured a No. 1 hit single worldwide in 1990, including on U.S. Billboard charts, with the release of “Close To You.” His 2014 album, Easy To Love, is a blend of reggae, R&B and dancehall. The album’s lead single, “Easy To Love,” features the legendary Jamaican drum and bass duo Sly & Robbie, who’ve played on some of his biggest hits including: “Wild World,” “Some Guys Have All The Luck,” “Close To You,” and “Housecall” (featuring Shabba Ranks), as well as the new album track, “Every Little Thing.”
Spice and Company – Hailing from Barbados and now returning to Bermuda for the first time in 20 years, Spice and Company (comprised of Alan Sheppard, Dean Straker and Roger Foster) experienced their first big hit, "You're Always on my Mind," in 1984. Touted as the best performing live soca band in the Caribbean, subsequent hits include: “In De Congaline,” “Make Noise,” “Lift Ya Leg Up,” “Take Ya Clothes Off,” “Aware Africa,” “Shake it up,” and “Give them Freedom.”
