Mark your calendars for Sunday September 13, 2015 for the 4th annual “Validus Running of the Bulls 5K”. This race is inspired by the running of the bulls in Pamplona, Spain. Several elite runners (the “Bulls”) will be running the race but will have a delayed start. The elite runners/walkers will try catch up to the rest of us runners/walkers to the finish line. There is also a non-competitive run, a competitive walk and a recreational 5k walk.
Please note that this is MAAC sanctioned road race and we are hoping it will be an even bigger success in its 4th year.

Charity: Half of Proceeds going to the Women's Resource Centre and the other half going to the Eliza Dolittle Society

10-12. Saturday September 12, 2015, AIG Building lobby, 29 Richmond Road. Parking is available in the East parking lot (enter from Richmond Road).
T-shirts available to first 350 registrants.
Route:
Begin on Richmond Road in from of the AIG Building (29 Richmond Road – right beside Robin Hood), Par-la-Ville Road, Front Street, Burnaby Road (turning into Cedar Ave), St John’s Road, Pitts Bay Road (turning into Front Street), Rosemont Ave, Richmond Road, end at AIG Building West parking lot.
Start Time/Categories (prizes awarded to top runner in each of the below categories – Bulls will not be awarded prizes):
Walkers (both competitive and recreational) start at 8:40am – Competitive walking age categories: 1) 16-39; 2) 40-49; 3) 50-59’ 4) 60+.
Runners (both competitive and recreational) start at 9:00am – Age categories: 1) 16-24; 25-29; 3) 30-34; 4) 35-39; 5) 40-44; 6) 45-49; 7) 50-59; 8) 60+; 9) Overall male; 10) Overall female.
Draw prizes for runners/walkers and volunteers. Runners/walkers must be present at draw to win prize.
